Side meetings

For side meetings organized by participants during the course of the conference, 4–8 September 2023, the EMS has reserved one extra room free of charge for the side meeting organizer(s).

Room E1.06 offers seating for 20 participants in U-shape. The room will provide the facilities to conduct hybrid meetings. It will be equipped with a Logitech Meetup system. The Meetup system includes a large screen on a stand (where you can see online participants and/or presentations) and on top of it will be a mounted camera and microphone that will capture the video and audio from the room, which will be transmitted to online participants.

This room is not available for booking as an extension of a session. These kinds of requests will be automatically withdrawn.

Please note, that every participant of a side meeting must be registered for the EMS Annual Meeting 2023.

Laptops will not be provided and must be brought by the organizer of the side meeting. Furthermore, please be aware that zoom access will not be provided and has to be set up by the side meeting organizer themself, respectfully.

Please study the side meeting overview below before you make a reservation. Your request will be handled by Copernicus Meetings on a first come first served basis. Your side meeting will be scheduled in the next few days. You will only be contacted by us if any questions arise.
